This is a beautiful and moving song. As life throws us different curve balls our faith in God brings us through so much. Thank you so much for such a wonderful and heartfelt song. Mamma D. God Bless you and your family...I come from a family of 8. I am the baby and we are a family of music and academics. I just want to say that your family blessed me when I saw them on Youtube at Noel Jones Church. Is there anyway I cam finish seeing the video. I was truly blessed!! One of my favorite songs was A Dream. That song gave me dreams...I believe I was about 6 or 7 at that time. Love you much and will be praying for you.

Momma Debarge, I just want to say that may God continue to bless you and your family as I know he will. You are such a beautiful person and I can tell that from afar, you keep a smile on your face inspight of your trials and tribulations, because it is God that gives you strength and that carries you through. My mom is 75 and I thank God for her each and everyday, I am the baby of eight and I lost my sister, and I know that it was God that kept me strong and holding on. My mom is like you a very strong black woman that has kept her family together no matter what. So, i want to thank you for your inspirations of songs and words of wisdom. So, keep on keeping on moma Debarge and everything will be alright

I am listening to this song at 1:35 am, and it is making me cry! I chose to shun the streets tonight and some bad habits. Glad I searched the net for some old school groups and ran across this site and song. Bless you and thank you!

We give all praise to our Lord in the matchless name of Jesus. I married at a much to young age of 16, just 4 years after coming to Cali with my mother and father, and I had 8 kids, shy 2 of your 10. I am now 63, and looking at your beauitful face, and hearing your voice full of glory for the Lord, let me know...at 70, it's not over....you are not over the hill, but standing on it, looking at your help, for your help come from the Lord, and not only your help, but your assignment now is to help others...only a traveler know the way, your dark days are over, your ways have been made striate, and it was done through your stufferings...this come from the prayers and heart of Mama Jackson, to Mama Debarge...and yes I was just aroung the corner from the very same projects in Det. MI....please know that i am still just around the corner from you in Prayer you and family, and your success in this GOD GIVEN PROJECT!!!

you have a beautiful spirit and beautiful voice. And your children are beautiful and talented. I grew up listening to switch and the debarges i love their voices and the songs they sang. We have something in common a love and trust in jesus christ. I 'll be praying for you and your family always.
